We have arrived in Echuca!

We arrived in Echuca on the day of the Big Storm. One pat of the caravan park had been particularly affected - of course it was near our camp site! A big tree had blown down and ripped off the front of a cabin.

We are now on Day 11 of the 100 Day Fitness Challenge, and we are still going strong. We each did 11 pushups and 11 situps today.

Echuca is a lovely town, and quite the bustling little city on the weekends, however there actually isn't a lot to do. We went to the Aussie Beer Shed yesterday, and it was great. Basically, this guy has been collecting beer cans (and many other things) for about a billion years and has put it all in his back shed and now charges people to come and see it. He was a wealth of information on the history of not only beer (from everywhere in the world!), but also Echuca and the surrounding district. If you ever get the chance, it is well worth coming up and paying to get the tour of the Big Beer Shed. You wont believe how interesting beer actually is!

We wanted to go fishing, and I rang up a fishing charter, but they said that it was too cold for the fish to be biting in the Murray, so we will be, yet again, buying our fish from Coles. Speaking of shops, there is a Big W here in Echuca. Kristy was so excited she nearly wet her pants! It is her most favourite shop in the world. Of course we have already been inside and purchased goods. K cannot go past a Big W without buying something.

We are still playing lots and lots of games. This week Kristy has taught me how to play Boule (like lawn bowls). I lost. We also played darts. I lost. I also taught her a new card game. I lost. I think I need to focus more.

My 15 minutes is nearly up at the internet cafe so off I go.
